LG Antique Alligator 16" Briefcase or Satchel, Hornback Scales

Fine antique Victorian era genuine alligator skin 16" briefcase or satchel, large center back or 'hornback' scales on both sides! Three large folio pockets inside, two with expanding sides and a center zippered space. I've shown this with one of our family's old power book laptops so you can see the size, great for that use, too! One large center back cut alligator skin panel forms the front & back, the raised scales of the reptile's head and back evident along the length. The inside is in natural tanned leather, a bit age stiffened but all there and in remarkable shape. A fabulous and very fashionable accessory, don't miss it!

Good-very good condition. There are some loose and/or missing stitches here & there, easily repaired. Some roughening at the corners and a small tear at the upper right corner (to the right of the handle). Original handle is intact but I'm not sure of how strong it is, you might want to have it looked at before toting around your new $2k laptop :). Original working latches but no key.
