Absolutely gorgeous antique Victorian to Edwardian era hair jewelry, a pair of 14k gold & genuine tortoise shell hair combs or pins in pristine condition! Purchased within the USA and it looks like they're of English or American origins (though I can't quite make out the goldsmith mark other than the '14k'). These elegant natural tortoise shell hair pins beg for a chignon or upswept mass of sensual hair to hold in place, don't they! Alas, it's not going to be mine - too short, but perhaps you're the one who will draw the 'Ooooo and Ahhhh' with these. And when not in your classic French twist, they're beautiful enough to leave out on your dressing table, elegant and opulently scattered. Yes!

Both in superb condition, as you can see in the images. No damage that I can see to the gold mountings, no chips, cracks or bug bites to the tortoise shell. See pictures for measurements.
