Very Lovely Vintage Hand Painted Ewer With Gold Trim Outline In Medium Relief

The wonderful bouquet is bordered by a wonderful gold trim that surround some modernistic shapes along with large flowing leaves. The other side continues the gold border around two lovely flowers and a stylish flourish beneath them. The bottom is bordered completely around with a russet colored background with some understated but well-detailed gold designs. This russet strip is framed top and bottom with gold. Even the handle is artistically shaped and decorated with gold highlights. I would use this for an accent piece on its own, or with some subtly colored short fronds or even pussy willows, although I would not use anything too tall. The piece is too beautiful to have too much distraction. I suspect this is much older, but am being very conservative calling it merely "vintage". This very graceful ewer stands a bit over 9 inches tall. There is a bit of roughness inside the neck, which supports my feeling about its age. Otherwise, it is in Very Good Condition.
