Super Pennsylvania Chessnut Commode or Three Drawer Stand

WOW. This is a really nice piece. It is made of chessnut with walnut pulls and carved walnut accents on the front. It has been refinished and is in excellent condition. This piece was part of the George Shaw collection that was recently auctioned in Franklin, PA. It had been in the barn for many years. The finish was mostly gone and had to be restored. There is no damage or repairs. The back is marked Petroleum Center, PA. Notice the decorative design of the skirt at the bottom. Dates from around 1880. Measures 29" wide 37" tall and 16" deep.
