Miniature Wooden Framed Sampler

This miniature picture frame measures 2 5/8“ tall and 3 5/8“ wide. It is suitable for use in a larger scale dollhouse. The cross stitch sampler most likely was replaced sometime in the 1940’s or 50’s, it is backed by a glued piece of card with (Norwegian) writing on it. The frame is much older and retains it’s original brass hanging loop. There is quite a bit of wear to the painted and varnished finish.
