Magnificent small sized lady doll in the sought-after 1159 mold. Fine German bisque socket head with slightly molded eyebrows with delicate individual brush strokes, painted lower lashes that are individually painted longer in the center and tapering to shorter at the inner and outer corners. She has her original hair upper lashes over beautiful blue spiral threaded glass sleep eyes with outlined irises which are working perfectly in the original set. Her lips have shading strokes on both the upper and lower and are slightly parted to reveal four upper rounded teeth. She has pieced ears and original earrings. Her wig is a fine mohair replacement in the correct lady styling for this model.

Head incised: "1159 // Germany // SIMON & HALBIG // 5 1/2"

Her original composition lady body with slim waist and long slender limbs is in it's original finish and in fine condition with just minor joint wear and two reinforced fingers on each hand . The lower rear torso is stamped in red: "2 / 0".

She is dressed in a lovely, albeit fragile, striped silk walking gown, lace trimmed undies, hand knit black wool socks and likely original kid leather shoes with heels.
